12 x Channel driver control Controller (1-10 or DALI broadcast)
The Philips Dynalite DDBC1200 continues Dynalite’s long-standing reputation for quality, reliability, and performance, building on a controller that has been trusted in projects for many years. Featuring 12 individually configurable outputs, the updated model introduces enhanced functionality, including support for DALI-209 tunable white and RGBWAF luminaires in DALI broadcast mode—eliminating the need for driver address discovery and simplifying installation. Now DALI-2 certified.
The Dynalite DDBC1200 is a 12-channel dimming controller that takes one signal from your Dynalite (DyNet) network and turns it into twelve individually controllable lighting outputs. It mounts on the DIN rail in your switchboard — usually right next to the circuit breakers feeding the lights it's controlling — and from there it does the quiet, behind-the-scenes work of telling your light fittings how bright to be.
What makes it a workhorse on real automation jobs is the flexibility on every output. Each of the twelve channels is independently selectable to DALI Broadcast, DSI, or 0–10V / 1–10V (sink or source) — so a single DDBC1200 can drive LED drivers in one zone, dimmable fluorescent ballasts in another, and 0–10V downlights somewhere else, all from the one box.
Picture how that fits into a building. In a hotel, the DDBC1200 is what gently fades the corridor lights up before breakfast and back down at night. In a boardroom, it's what drops the pendants to a comfortable presentation level the moment someone hits "Meeting" on the wall panel. In a home, it's what gives you a single "Movie" scene that takes the lounge from 100% down to 15% over a couple of seconds. Once it's wired in and commissioned, you stop thinking about it — it just listens to the network and keeps the lighting doing what your scenes, schedules, sensors and panels ask of it.
Used together with the rest of the Dynalite ecosystem — wall panels, occupancy and daylight sensors, time clocks, touchscreens, and the EnvisionProject programming software — the DDBC1200 gives you a clean, scalable way to control large amounts of dimmable lighting from one tidy DIN-rail enclosure.
